Payment Terms & Conditions

How and when payment is due, deposits, and accepted methods.

These Payment Terms apply to all estimates and invoices issued by Kingdom Auto & Detail Ltd. and form part of our Terms & Conditions. By approving an estimate, placing a parts order, or paying an invoice, you agree to these Payment Terms.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit & debit cards — processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card number.
  • Interac e-Transfer — to the address provided on your invoice or at checkout.
  • Cash and in-person debit at our shop.

2. When Payment Is Due

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of the work and before the vehicle is released, unless a written arrangement states otherwise.
  • For approved estimates, any required deposit must be received before we order parts or begin work.
  • Invoices marked due on receipt are payable immediately. Amounts not paid when due may be subject to interest and reasonable collection costs.

3. Deposits on Vehicle-Specific & Special-Order Parts

  • The deposit secures the order and covers parts that are sourced specifically for your vehicle and generally cannot be returned to the supplier.
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion and before release of the vehicle.
  • If you cancel after the order is placed, the deposit is forfeited and any non-recoverable supplier or restocking charges remain payable.

4. Taxes & Fees

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated. Shop supplies, environmental, and disposal fees may apply and will be itemized on your invoice.

5. Authorization & Records

By approving an estimate or authorizing work you authorize the resulting charges, including the agreed deposit and final balance. We retain estimates, signed or electronic authorizations, and invoices as a record of the agreed amounts and work performed.

6. Title to Parts

Title to any parts we supply remains with us until the related invoice is paid in full. We may exercise a repairer's lien over your vehicle until all amounts owing are paid, as permitted by British Columbia law.

7. Refunds

All services are non-refundable once performed, and part deposits are non-refundable as described above. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Billing Questions & Disputes

If you believe there is an error on an invoice or have a question about a charge, please contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we can resolve it directly. Disputing a charge for authorized work that has been performed, or for a non-refundable deposit you agreed to, is contrary to these Payment Terms.
