Warranty Policy
Warranty coverage varies by the service performed and the parts used.
Last updated: April 4, 2026
This Warranty Policy applies to services and parts provided by Kingdom Auto & Detail Ltd. and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Warranty Varies by Service and Part
Warranty coverage is provided based on the specific service performed and the parts used, and the term and scope vary accordingly. The warranty applicable to your job — if any — is determined by the type of work and the parts installed, and will be noted on your estimate or invoice where applicable. Some services and parts are provided without warranty; this will be indicated at the time of service.
2. Parts Warranty
- New parts we supply and install are covered by the manufacturer's warranty that applies to that part. Manufacturer terms, duration, and conditions govern the coverage.
- Where a manufacturer warranty applies, we will assist you in making a claim. Replacement of a defective part under warranty may not include additional labour unless stated.
- Used, reconditioned, or aftermarket parts may carry limited or no warranty, as disclosed at the time of service.
3. Workmanship (Labour) Warranty
Where we provide a workmanship warranty, it covers the specific repair we performed for the period stated on your invoice. It applies only to the work described and does not cover unrelated faults, pre-existing conditions, or new issues arising after service.
4. What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear-and-tear and routine maintenance items (e.g., fluids, filters, brake pads consumed in use).
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, modification, continued operation after a fault appears, or work performed by a third party.
- Parts supplied by the customer — see our Terms & Conditions.
- Diagnostic services, where the warranty is on the diagnosis performed and not on subsequent component failure.
- Detailing results affected by the pre-existing condition of paint, upholstery, or surfaces.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us with your invoice number and a description of the issue. The vehicle must be returned to us for inspection so we can verify the concern. Approved warranty issues are resolved by repair, replacement, or correction as applicable — this is the remedy under warranty, in place of a refund (see our Refund Policy).
